VetSpecs^® WM10-BP

Developed specifically for WIRELESS monitoring of blood pressures, with real-time pulse rate and waveforms, on patients in surgery or postoperative / intensive care, the WM10-BP comes with a Bluetooth 5.6” display platform and a Bluetooth blood pressure (BP) module.

The WM10-BP features the volume plethysmography method - a breakthrough technique developed specifically for NONINVASIVE blood pressure measurements in cats, dogs, and other similarly sized veterinary patients. Sharing the same principle as the Doppler method, the volume plethysmography method employs a cuff to occlude arterial flow and a sensor band to register arterial pulsations. But unlike the manually operated Doppler method, which provides only the systolic arterial pressure, the volume plethysmography method is fully automated, and provides a real-time pulse rate with pulse waveforms, as well as the systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial pressures.

For blood pressure monitoring, wrap the cuff and the sensor band on the patient’s leg, and attach the BP module onto the patient’s body or leg with self-adhering elastic gauze. When monitoring in postoperative / intensive care, the patient can be inside the cage, and the display platform can be positioned anywhere up to 15 meters (50 feet) away, with no wires or BP hose in between.

The WM10-BP saves all registered readings on the USB flash drive. You can review the data on your computer, print out a report through any office printer, and permanently store the data in your patient database under your existing practice management software system.
