Micro-flow™ Capnography and Multigas Monitor
6.75 x 4.5 x 1.75 inches (170 x 115 x 45 mm), 1.2 lbs. (0.54 kg), 5.6” HD screen
State-of-the-art Micro-flow™ Capnography
Featuring the micro-flow™ side-stream capnography, the CM5 provides the following information, plus a respiratory sound, and saves all registered waveforms, readings, and trend graphics on a USB flash drive for digital documentation and printing out a monitoring report.
- CO2 Waveforms
- End-tidal CO2 (EtCO2)
- Respiratory Rate (RR)
- Fractional Inspired CO2 (FiCO2)
- Trend Graphics for EtCO2 and RR
With a sampling flow rate of only 50 ml/m, the micro-flow™ side-stream capnography is suitable for use in all cats, dogs, and other similar-sized animals.
Multigas Monitoring (optional)
The CM5 offers an optional micro-flow™ side-stream capnography and multigas module, as shown below, which monitors one of the five anesthetic gas agents (Sevoflurane, Isoflurane, Halothane, Desflurane, or Enflurane) and the nitrous oxide (N2O), as well as provides the CO2 waveforms, end-tidal CO2 (EtCO2), fractional inspired CO2 (FiCO2), respiratory rate (RR), and respiratory sound.

Flex™ Modular Display Platform
Based on the VetSpecs® Flex™ modular system, the CM5 is compatible with the Main Module containing ECG, pulse oximetry, and temperature, as shown below. To upgrade the CM5 for multiparameter monitoring and ECG testing, purchase the Main Module and connect it the display platform, which displays ECG tracings, pulse waveforms, CO2 waveforms, heart rate, core or rectal temperature, SpO2 reading, EtCO2 reading, respiratory rate, and FiCO2 reading, as shown above
